I am feeling and moving a little easier!
lots of appointments ongoing in the week, hydro, rheumatology etc.
I am just amazed with the different in just 2 days.
even if I never am able to properly walk again- if it halts the progression or slows it right down that will be incredible.
thank you so very much for your ongoing support- the whole thing having the drug was totally different than all the other biologics, no pain on injection- no horrid and immediate effects, just a bit groggy and the neuropathy went a bit painful the first night.
I know it is early days yet and I am trying not to let my hope run away with me, side effects can errupt as we all know some time into taking it. BUT I cant help but think at long long last I have braved a drug and appear to be winning.

Still shedding tears, Jenni! I reckon this must be the best news EVER. I can't believe you are moving a littler easier already. Just another wonderful miracle. Will you be having the next injecton at home or in hospital?
MUCH love Jeanxxxxx

Great news Jenni I really hope this is the start of a highly effective treatment that doesn't cause you any problems and that you feel the benefits of it real soon. BIG hugs Jo. 2012 Fundraising for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/RoboJo

Hi Jenni
Was just going to text you & find out if you were up for another visit this pm; but thought I would log on first as I have been offline since Monday. Great news you are home.
Keeping fingers crossed for the treatment.
Will text you later & perhaps we can meet up again at some point - not sure if you are ever in Chandlers Ford or not?

hi again all,
the new drug is called Cimzia. I have just spoken to my consultant and told him that already 2 days in I do feel brighter! how cool is that?!
He says they are still keeping a close eye, one of the drs there kept telling me it was all about my worry and that worry can bring on real physical symtoms you know..... (like not breathing anaphalaxis then) - prat.
anyway
so far so good.
the weather is lovely. it is the weekend tomorrow. i do love being home.
